چکیده
In recent years, the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi has experienced several earthquakes ranging in magnitude from 1.0 to 6.7. According last 50 years earthquake data, majority NCR have occurred near Mahendragarh Dehradun Fault (MDF) and Sohna (SF). The region is bounded by a number subsurface Ridges, Faults, Lineaments, which are also influenced active plate boundary Indian Eurasian plates. Active fault mapping critical for precise identification marking traces area seismic hazard assessment. We used high resolution Cartosat-1 stereopair data obtained NRSC, Hyderabad, Anaglyph (A 3D representation surface) DEM prepared with ENVI software map faults. identified 12 sites based on satellite interpretation, primarily along MDF their extensions. presence tectono-geomorphic markers Fault, such as warped surfaces indicative scarps, stream offsets, gully erosion, sag ponds, suggests tectonic movement these faults, most likely geological past. believe right-lateral strike-slip compressional component western side an extensional eastern side. It acts segment between boundaries. right lateral Nuh-Jhirka (NJF), can be Fault’s southern extension Nuh Jhirka. limb Mega fold seen few movements that extended up bank Yamuna River, where river reflects base-level change tight meandering its upward straight pattern downward This known (DF). findings preliminary, further research would required create detailed Delhi-NCR conduct Seismic Hazard Assessment (SHA) region.

Persistence of Corynebacterium diphtheriae in Delhi & National Capital Region (NCR)
Despite the introduction of mass immunization, diphtheria continues to play a major role as a potentially lethal infectious disease in many countries. Delay in the specific therapy of diphtheria may result in death and, therefore, accurate diagnosis of diphtheria is imperative. This study was carried out at National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Delhi, India, on samples of suspected diphth...
متن کاملScope of Recycling Municipal Solid Waste in Delhi and National Capital Region (ncr)
Ecosystem is affected by uneducated, unplanned and ineffective waste management. The cycle of garbage generation and recycling is effective to make the cities environment more pollution free, clean, green and habitable for healthy living. In an effort to understand the dynamics of waste management and scope in Delhi & NCR the paper looked at the systems in place for collection and recycling of ...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Remote Sensing for Settlement Patterns in Metropolitan Regions: the Case of National Capital Region (ncr) of Delhi, India
The author earlier conducted a research, attempting to make two models, one for understanding, monitoring and describing settlement patterns in metropolitan regions, dependant primarily on remotely sensed data; and the second, for predicting settlement patterns in such regions, using National Capital Region (NCR), of Delhi, India, as a case study. As part of the model, a transferable approach o...
